A place steeped in history, faithful to its roots, open to a more contemporary style. A site that modernizes the experience without ever betraying the soul of an emblematic Parisian bistro.
A legendary address in Saint-Germain-des-Prés, Allard is a Parisian bistro that opened over 80 years ago, and is now run by Maison Ducasse Paris.
The place perpetuates simple, generous seasonal cuisine, imbued with nobility, faithful to regional traditions and the Burgundian heritage dear to Alain Ducasse. With its blend of authenticity, conviviality and high standards, Allard embodies a certain idea of French fine dining.
We created the UX/UI design for the Allard restaurant’s website, following on from the work we’d carried out for several of the Ducasse Group’s French addresses. The challenge was clear: bring a touch of modernity to a classic atmosphere, while respecting the strong identity and authenticity of the site.
The site is based on a template system common to the group, guaranteeing overall consistency, while allowing Allard’s own universe to express itself.
At the same time, strategic support was provided, with the definition of a tagging plan and the creation of a Looker Studio dashboard, enabling the restaurants’ digital performance to be tracked, with particular emphasis on conversion rates linked to reservations.
